With Father's Day coming up in a few days time(2nd September in Australia), I thought to make and share a card for the occasion...I chose the cute dragons from Mama Elephant stamps for my card and the background was pretty quick to create too...before I begin to tell you more about my card, here's wishing a very Happy Father's Day to all the awesome dads out there...!!
I started by stamping and colouring in the dragons using my Zig clean colour markers and once dry, I die cut them using the coordinating dies...I then die cut two pieces for the background and coloured them in using the following shades of Distress Inks - antique linen,rusty hinge, peeled paint and mowed lawn...
I used salty ocean Distress Ink and MFT cloud stencil on a plain white background panel and adhered this panel to the card base...I added the two die cut backgrounds on the card front and then using some adhesive foam, I adhered the two dragons on my card..
I stamped the sentiment using black ink and added a small red die cut heart next to the 'baby' dragon and my card was ready...
