Many Thanks

I had started today's card with an intention to create a bit of depth on my stamped panel simply by adding 2nd generation stamping as I have seen Jennifer McGuire do in many of her cards and tutorials...but as you can see, it didn't work out for me...but I still did manage to create a lovely card in the end...

I stamped the flowers and leaves on a plain white front panel using various pink, purple and green shades of Altenew crisp dye inks...for those who don't know what 2nd generation stamping is - simply put, it is when you stamp again immediately after you have stamped...since you don't reink the stamp, you get a lighter version of the image...this way you are able to add depth and/or dimension to your images without using too many shades of inks...

I stamped the large sentiment using black ink and then adhered this panel to a plain white card base....
then on a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped a few extra leaves and flowers using the same shade of inks and cut them out and placed them just below the sentiment...I  did use some adhesive foam underneath them to add the much needed dimension...

To embellish my card I have added a lot of pink and purple shiny jewels in various sizes...

I'm glad you stopped by to take a look at my card....Hope you will have a beautiful day ahead...!!
