There isn't anything common between the two cards I'm sharing today except that they were both pretty quick to make...every now and then I do like to make simple and quick cards like these ones...the first one is a funny cat birthday card - hilarious actually, that cat has a priceless expression on it's face don't you think?....and for my second card I tried out the texture paste again...
I started my first card by die cutting the front panel and then stamped and clear heat embossed the cat, mouse as well as the sentiment...I then coloured in the images using Zig markers and a water brush...once dry, I sponged some chipped sapphire Distress ink on all edges of this panel and splattered some water for effect...
I adhered this panel to a plain white card base and added some jewels to embellish it..
For my second card, I first sponged squeezed lemonade Distress Oxide ink on the front panel and splattered some water for effect....I then used a stencil and some Distress texture paste to add the pattern only on the base of this panel and set it aside to dry...
Next, I stamped the sentiment on the front panel and then added a frame die cut from a light green glitter cardstock...I adhered this panel to a plain white card base and then added some tiny green sequins and black Nuvo drops to embellish it...
Thank you for your visit today...I'm so glad you stopped by my blog...Have a happy and wonderful day ahead...!!
