Two Cards - Anniversary & Congrats

The two cards I'm sharing today were very quick to make and in both these cards I have used techniques that I have learnt by watching Jennifer McGuire's tutorials....in the anniversary cards with the cosmos flowers I did the fast watercolouring using the inpad directly on the image and for the congrats card I created the glazed distress oxide background using Distress Oxide inks and Distress Glaze on a glossy cardstock piece..

I started my first card by creating the flowers for my card first...I stamped the flower heads using squeezed lemonade and seedless preserves Distress Oxide inks and heat embossed the images using a pearl embossing powder...next I applied some Oxide inks to these images directly from the ink pads -spiced marmalade and picked raspberry - and then used my water spritzer with some gold perfect pearls powder mixed with the water and spritzed the images...this made the colour flow all over the image and colour it automatically...once dry, I die cut these images and set them aside to add to the card later...

I cut out the front panel of my card from Bristol cardstock and sponged some salty ocean Oxide ink all over...I then stamped the flower stems using lucky clover Oxide ink and heat embossed them with pearl embossing powder as well...I then used blueprint sketch Oxide ink and the warp speed stencil to print the pattern just above the stems...I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on this panel and adhered it to the card base...

Finally I adhered the flower heads to my card, using adhesive foam squares under a couple of them for a bit of dimension...and to embellish my card I have simply used clear Nuvo drops ...

For my second card I have created yet another glazed Distress Oxide background ( I may be addicted to this technique)...I have used seedless preserves, candied apple and picked raspberry shades Oxide inks here...once the inks were dry, I quickly embossed the background using the WRMK geometric next level embossing powder and adhered this panel to the card base...

I die cut the word congrats three times from a thick white cardstock and once from white glitter cardstock and layered them before adhering them to the card...I also die cut two flowers and one leaf cluster from the same white cardstock...I die cut the topmost layer of these from white glitter cardstock as well and adhered them just above the die cut word...to embellish this card I have used some tiny rhinestones...
