Pretty Pink Flowers For Scrapbook Boutique May Challenge

I was inspired by one of the pictures in this month's mood board for the Scrapbook Boutique challenge.....but I did not have any stamps that were long stems with flowers....that would have been so easy....but this is a challenge..and the reason why I love such challenges is that they make you think creatively...so I masked the images and extended them to get the look that I wanted...

Here is the mood board for this month's challenge...I chose to replicate the pink flowers and the embossing is idea was inspired by the tea cup..for the die cut sentiment I chose the colour of the berries..

I started by stamping the flowers a few times on a white watercolour panel with watermark ink and heat embossed them with rose gold embossing powder...to extend the branches, I simply masked the top flower and buds and repeated the process....I coloured in the flowers with my brand new Zig  clean colour  markers and I washed the background with a very light blue watercolour...once dry, I heat embossed half of the sentiment with the same rose gold embossing powder and adhered this panel to a plain white card base...

I then die cut the word 'you' from red glitter cardstock as well as white craft foam and layered them before adhering it on the card....I also die cut three sequins from the same cardstock to embellish my card..
