I have absolutely enjoyed making this card...these dragons from Mama Elephant are so adorable and I love all the tiny images in this set which can be used to create so many different scenes for cards...I also had a lot of fun making the night background which I have made following
Jennifer McGuire's Glazed Distress Oxide technique...
I applied some Distress Oxide inks on my craft mat and sprayed some water....I then used a glossy cardstock and smooshed that ink onto the paper, drying it with a heat gun and repeating the process...I have used black soot, wilted violet, squeezed lemonade and lucky clover shades of oxide inks...once there was enough colour and layers on this panel and it was completely dry, I applied some Distress glaze and buffed it with a soft cloth before adhering it to a plain white card base...
I die cut two city backgrounds...one using black cardstock and another from grey cardstock....I adhered the black one to the card front and reversed the grey one, lightly inked the edges and adhered it on front of the black one using some adhesive foam...
Next, I stamped and coloured in all the images and die cut them and adhered them to the card...I stamped the sentiment on a white label and added some tiny rhinestones to embellish my card..
Thank you for your visit today...I'm so glad you stopped by my blog...Have a happy and wonderful day ahead...!!
