It's the second month of autumn here now, but while making this card today I got a happy and spring kind of feeling...I have watercoloured the main image of my card which I have created for
Time Out Chalenge #106...this one is a photo challenge and the Time Out DT have such gorgeous cards for inspiration...
This is the image provided for the challenge and I have been able to incorporate the yellow,green and aqua colours from this image...and to add a touch of gold (the forks in the table setting), I added some gold splatters in the background..
On a piece of watercolor cardstock cut to size for the front panel,I stamped the image using Versafine black onyx ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder....I then used Spectrum Aqua markers to watercolour the image...I have used bud green,meadow green and aquamarine shades of markers with a water brush for colouring...
I covered the painted image with some scrap paper and splattered some Nuvo gold mousse mixed with water...once dry,I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment as well and adhered the front panel to a plain white card base...
To embellish my card I have used some sea breeze Nuvo jewel drops and to add some shimmer to the flower image,I applied some Nuvo sparkle pen all over it...
