I started today's card with a simple theme - a belated birthday card for a male...picking out the sentiment was pretty easy but not the image to go with it...so after a lot of choosing, I decided to use this robot image with a very cheesy grin..!!
I started by stamping the robot image and the sentiment on a white watercolour cardstock panel...I have used the Daniel Smith watercolor dot chart to colour in this image...along with the blue shade I have an iridescent moonstone colour to fill in the image...this shade is a kind of a grey with a lot of shine and as usual it doesn't show up well in the photo...
I sponged in some mermaid lagoon Distress Oxide ink on the front panel and splattered some water for effect...and just because I couldn't not, I added some silver and blue sequins to embellish my card...
