Bright Flowers Card For Scrapbook Boutique March Challenge

I was very excited while creating this card....as I was blog hopping for the Scrapbook Boutique March Challenge and looking at all the DT's creations, a good idea was forming in my head already...so when I started creating,I didn't get distracted or double minded...all I had to do was make sure I did the stamping and stencilling right... :)

This is the moodboard for the March challenge and as you can see,I was quite inspired by the image of the cluster of flowers..

I started by creating the background on my die cut front panel....I first applied mustard seed and fossilized amber Distress Inks to the whole panel and then used my rays stencil with barn door and fired brick Distress Inks to print the pattern over the yellow background...I sprinkled some water for effect and once dry,I adhered this panel to a plain white card base..

Next,I stamped the flowers on a piece if white cardstock....and this time I used Distress Oxide inks to stamp them...I have used fired brick and squeezed lemonade shades here...I die cut these flowers using the coordinating dies and then arranged them on my card front...to adhere these flowers I have used glue and adhesive foam squares to create depth...

I stamped the sentiment on a long strip of white cardstock and adhered it to my card...and to embellish it I have simply added some clear confetti sequins to the flowers...
