Scrapbook Boutique February Challenge

When I saw the moodboard for this month's challenge at Scrapbook Boutique, I knew I was going to use my favorite Distress Inks for it but instead of using the ink pads,I have used the reinkers of the colours for a more concentrated and bright colour...

This is the moodboard for this month's challenge...

As always,I started with the background,I die cut watercolour cardstock using a stitched rectangle die and then applied water on it...I then added a little bit of Distress Inks reinker onto this panel...I have used tea dye and mustard seed shades here..I also added some red gold Gansai Tambi starry watercolour to this panel...once dry,I dry embossed the panel using WRMK next level geometric embossing folder and adhered it to a plain black card base...

I die cut a piece of black cardstock using the stitched dome stax and embossed it using the swiss dots embossing folder and adhered this to the front panel...I then die cut the champagne glasses and even though it is not visible in the photos - I have die cut these from acetate, vellum and white cardstock and layered them...I also used a marker on the acetate die cut to create the effect of filled up glasses...

Finally I die cut the word 'cheer' from gold foil cardstock and adhered it to the card front and added some sequins to embellish it...
