MFT has released the cutest dog stamps for Christmas this year...and I'm sharing two cards that I have made using the Happy Pawlidays stamp set...should've got the coordinating dies as well but didn't...might get them later... :)
I started my first card by sponging in some Distres Inks very lightly onto a die cut front panel...I have used the shades - shaded lilac, tumbled glass and spun sugar and then adhered this panel to a white card base...
I die cut the letters for the word 'oh joy' and a dome frame from pink glitter cardstock and well as some pink foam and adhered them to the card front..
On a piece of watercolour cardstock I stamped and clear heat embossed the little dog,the tree and the present and coloured them in using crayola markers and a water brush..once dry,I cut them out and placed them inside the dome frame...
To embellish my card,I used red Nuvo drops on the tree and tiny pink star sequins all over the card..I also applied my Spectrum Noir glitter pen over the dog's santa hat and blue stocking...
On my second card I wanted to create a night sky scene and used Distress inks for it...I have used these shades - dried marigold, lucky clover, blueprint sketch and black soot...I also splattered some water as well as gold watercolour for effect and then adhered this panel to a white card base...
The images for this card have also been stamped and coloured in the same way as the previous card - using crayola markers,I cut them out and adhered them on the card as well as the die sentiment using gold glitter cardstock...
I added gold Nuvo drops to the tree and used some clear star sequins to embellish the card...
Thank you for stopping by my blog today....Have lovely & blessed day ahead...!!
