In this card I have tried out something that I saw in a youtube video quite a long time ago but never tried out until now...and thankfully I was able to locate the video so I could share that with you..well,it's nothing major...I just got excited after making clouds using a paper towel on a watercoloured background...ha ha....and here is the link to the
video tutorial
I started by cutting some watercolour cardstock to size and then covering it with a light blue watercolour(I will try a darker shade next time...this one became too light once it dried)...and while it was wet,I quickly scrunched up a paper towel and dabbed it several times...the towel soaked up the colour and revealed the white underneath which looks like clouds..
I die cut a piece of green cardstock using scalloped edge border die and embossed it using a geo pattern embossing folder before adhering it to the bottom part of this panel...I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on this panel and adhered it to the card base...
I stamped and coloured in the little girl image on a separate piece of white cardstock and cut it out before placing it on the card front using some adhesive foam...I also added a die cut sun near the top of the card...and finally I added a thin strip of gold glitter cardstock to finish my card...
Thanks for visiting my blog today...Have a lovely & blessed day ahead....Happy crafting...!!
