I have quite a few succulents stamp sets now and I love every single one of them...today I'm sharing two cards that I have made using Sassy Succulents stamp set by Power Poppy...this set has a large cluster image which I used for my first card and a few potted plants images which I have used in the second one..
I first die cut the top panel from Kraft cardstock using a large cross stitch rectangle die and then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment as well as the succulents using white embossing powder...
I coloured in the images using some twisted citron and peeled paint Distress Oxide inks mixed with a bit of water...I really like the chalky effect these inks give...
I embellished the card with some Pretty Pink Post sequins called whimsical forest mix and also added a heart next to the sentiment which I have die cut from gold foil cardstock...
Now my second card 'had' to be a colourful one...ha ha..I started with a die cut watercolour cardstock panel and stamped the images and the sentiment using onyx black Versafine ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder...and because I didn't plan my card well,I had to mask all the images before creating the background...
I have used a twisted citron Distress Oxide ink to cover the base section and salty ocean ink to create the cloudy background...I then splattered some water for effect only on the clouds area...I stamped tiny triangles on the green section at the base on this panel...
I then used crayola markers and a water brush to colour in all the stamped images and once dry,I adhered this panel to a plain white card base...to embellish my card I have used a few small gold sequins...
Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog today...Have a wonderful day ahead...!!
