Today I'm sharing a kind of a simple yet cute apology card...the giraffe with his long neck in a knot is an image from Katzelkraft Stamps and I have used wild greenery dies for the background panel...the sentiment from Paper Smooches uplifters stamp set is just perfect for this card...
I started by creating the background panel for the giraffe...I die cut lots of leaves from a smooth bright green cardstock and adhered them to a panel cut to size from the same cardstock...I added this panel to a plain white card base and also added two strips of black glitter cardstock on each side...I stamped the sentiment directly on the card base using black ink...
I stamped the giraffe on a separate piece of white cardstock and coloured it in with my Spectrum Noir markers...I then cut it out and adhered it to the green panel using some adhesive foam squares...
To embellish my card I have used some black Nuvo Drops...
