I have used quite a few Distress Ink colours for the background of my card but have actually managed keep the images and sentiment in focus and not the background...the cute fairy images are from a stamp set by The Greeting Farm called Little Fairies..
I started by die cutting the front panel from white cardstock using the large stitched rectangle die and then used some Distress Inks and the MFT mini cloud stencil to create the background...I have sponged the inks lightly and these are the shades I used - salty ocean,squeezed lemonade,spun sugar,twisted citron and shaded lilac..
I stamped the sentiment at the base of this panel using black ink and then adhered it to a plain white card base..
On a separate piece of white cardstock,I stamped and coloured in the two fairies and then cut them out and adhered them onto the card using some thin adhesive foam squares...I used a few pink and gold sequins to embellish my card...
