I'm sharing a very colourful birthday card today and I loved creating the background for it..Distress Inks are still my absolute favorites..I also like the bright pink candles on it...
I started by die cutting the front panel of the card from white cardstock using a stitched rectangle die...I used three dies from the MFT mini scallop rectangle stax to emboss this panel...
Then using some scrap paper and an edge die,I created a few masks which I used with distress inks to create this colourful background...I splattered some water on this panel and quickly dabbed it with a paper towel..
On a separate piece of white cardstock,I stamped the candles using a dark pink dye ink and the flames using yellow ink...I cut out each one of the candles and adhered them to the card front using some adhesive foam underneath...
I stamped the sentiment on a large white banner and adhered it on top of the candles....I embellished my card using some very tiny Nuvop drops...
Thank you for stopping by to take a look at my card today..Have a lovely day...Happy crafting...!!
