The title of my post tells you why I made this card...but it doesn't tell you how much fun I've had making it...he he...the Harry Potter movies are an absolute favorite of my family and we have watched them together way too many times to count...there are 3 different stamp sets from Sweet Stamp Shop which have all the main characters from this series...even Hagrid and Dumbledore..!!
I first started by creating the background on watercolour cardstock....I randomly applied the greens and blues from Gansai watercolours and then the gold from the starry colours set..once dry,I added a gold die cut frame on this panel and adhered it to a plain white card front...
On a separate piece of cardstock,I stamped the images of Harry,Ron,Hermoine,the broomsticks and the sorting hat and coloured them in using Spectrum Noir markers and cut them out before placing them on the card...
I stamped the sentiment on a gold banner and adhered it to the card front using some adhesive foam and added the sorting hat on it...
With all the gold foil and gold watercolour as well,I decided not to embellish the card...
