I love it when I can make a whole heap of different cards from just one or a couple of stamp sets...and I have done that using these MFT Once upon a time and Knight in shining armor stamp sets...today I was making just a shaker card but then thought the images would look cute on shaker tags...so made those as well..
For the card I chose a dark pink card base and a light green textured cardstock for the top layer...I embossed the top layer using the WRMK next level embossing folder and then started to prepare my shaker section...
The base of the shaker is white but has been sponged with mowed lawn Distress Ink..I coloured in cut out and placed the princess image on this layer and die cut a rectangle frame using some craft foam then added the sequins and closed the shaker using acetate...I die cut another frame from pink glitter cardstock and adhered it above the acetate and then adhered the whole shaker to the card front...
All I had to do now was to add the sentiment...I stamped it on a small label using pink ink and placed it on the shaker...
And these are the tags that I created after making the card...I was very surprised how quickly I was able to make these ...
I first die cut three tags from water colour cardstock and sponged the edges using Distress Oxide inks...I have used wilted violet, broken china and cracked pistachio here...
Next,I stamped and coloured in the images on a separate piece of white cardstock and cut them out before adhering them onto the tags...
Then using plastic pockets and my fuse tool,I created the shakers and filled them up with various star sequins and sealed the pockets...I added matching ribbons and sentiments onto these tags and they were ready...
Thank you for visiting my blog today...Hope you will have a lovely & blessed day ahead....Happy crafting...!!
