Bright Borders Birthday Card

A lot of stamp sets have these tiny border stamps which are only about two to three inches long...I  have usually ignored those stamps....till now...

I was trying out a couple of these stamps to create a full border using bright inks and they didn't line up correctly(the reason why I didn't use them much to begin with)...but a small section look alright and I decided to die cut that part to use in a card using the stitched rectangle die...the panel looked great and I decided to make it the main element of today's card...

The card base is plain white and the top layer is plain blue which has been die cut using the largest of the stitched rectangle border die and then placed the border stamped panel on it....

I then die cut the word 'happy' using red glitter cardstock and placed it on the panel at an angle and also stamped the word birthday on a small piece of white cardstock and placed it on the die cut...

Have a lovely & blessed day ahead....Happy crafting...!!

Birthday Wishes Card

I'm sharing another colourful card today...it does take me a while to colour in all the little images for the card but I'm actually enjoying the process these days and feeling a bit more confident...

The card base is plain blue and the top layer is a bright yellow....I die cut a little strip of bright orange cardstock using the chevron die and adhered it at the very top so it looks like a party banner...I also die cut a piece of printed green DSP using the hillside border and attached it to the bottom of the yellow top layer....

I stamped the little boy and girl image on a separate piece of cardstock and coloured them in using Spectrum Noir markers before cutting them out and placing them on the card...I then stamped and die cut the 'birthday wishes' banner and used a black fine liner pen to create the effect that the boy and girl are holding the banner...

Finally I decorated the card with a few coloured star sequins....

Thanks for stopping today by to take a look...Have a blessed day ahead...!!

Hip Hip Hooray Card

For today's card I decided to create a bright scene using my new hot air balloon die....I have also tried paper tearing technique for the top layer of this card...I was a bit unsure at first but still wanted to try...and here's the result....

The card base is a plain bright red and top layer has been created by using distress inks...then I tore a bit of paper from all four sides and sponged the edges before placing the top layer onto the card...

I die cut the hot air balloon, first with the orange foil card stock and then again with a spotty printed paper and combined the two before placing onto the top layer....I also die cut a few clouds for the card...

The sentiment is stamped on a red banner and I have used a few rhinestones to decorate the card...

Thanks for stopping by to take a look...Happy crafting...

Birthday Hugs Card

I don't buy too much Stampin Up! products, but when I do - I usually get a few extra goodies from my demonstrator....last time I got the Shine On double sided DSP with some matching cardstock in a kit and I held on to most of the papers for a long time until I got a good enough idea for a card...I have a bad habit of saving( read hoarding) the 'good' papers - which I'm trying to change.... :)

The card base is plain white and the top layer is the plain aqua green which I die cut using the stitched rectangle dies...the top layer is a Kraft base with silver foil print...I die cut that panel using a smaller one of the rectangle die....

Once all the layers were in place,I die cut the word 'hugs' a few times using the same blue cardstock as the middle panel and white glitter cardstock as well and layered them up before placing onto the card....then I cut two silver banners and stamped the sentiments on it and adhered them above and below the die cut word to create a full message...

Finally I die cut a few heart shaped balloons from red glitter cardstock to decorate the card...

Cheers to breaking bad habits... :)

Thinking Of You Card

So I pulled out black cardstock yet again and decided to make a simple card with it....I think the yellow looks vibrant with the black card base....

There is not much to this card...I started with a black cardstock card base....the top layer is made from watercolour paper which has been washed with yellow watercolour....once that was dry,I stamped the foliage stamps using Versamark ink and heat embossed all the images with white embossing powder...

The sentiment is stamped on a black banner using white pigment ink and I have used gold cardstock to die cut a few sequins to decorate the card...

Hope you'll have a wonderful and crafty day ahead...Happy crafting...

I have used a blue cardstock for the box and a printed lavender DSP for the front....The digi has been coloured in using Spectrum Noir Markers and placed on a bright yellow base mat....I have also stamped and cut out the sentiment banner and threaded it through the ribbon...

Thank You For Your Friendship Card

Today I'm sharing a simple card which seems like it was created in minutes...but actually took me a few days to finish...I was totally out of ideas once I got the background ready...

The card base in plain pink and the background layer is made by distress inks and simple paper masking....the top layer is made from vellum paper and is slightly smaller than the background layer....I have used a pink gel ink pen to draw the stitch lines on it...

Then I die cut a flourish embellishment from gold foil cardstock and placed it on the center of the card...and placed the gold embossed sentiment banner above it...

I have decorated the card with colourful rhinestones which also help hide the glue dots that help to adhere the vellum layer onto the card...

Thanks for stopping by to take a look...Happy crafting...

Folded Birthday Card

I've had the tutorial for this card bookmarked for such a long time and I wish I had tried it out sooner....it was so easy and fun to make and I love the unique folding technique..

Here is the link for the instructions and video tutorial by Dawn - Amazing Fold Card

I started with a square dark lavender cardstock and got the card base folded as per the instructions in the tutorial video....once that was ready,I stamped on the inside of the card and prepared the layers for the inside sections...

On the front of the card I have used a few mat layers and a final stamped top layer on which I have placed the sentiment as well...this top layer is adhered by using adhesive sponge squares as the ribbon needs to be threaded underneath it to close the card...

This card was so much fun to try....I hope you too are having fun crafting today...

May You Be Protected Card

I love the effect of coloured inks on Kraft cardstock....although I have learnt that not all colours work well on it but the ones that do work, look absolutely fabulous....

On a Kraft cardstock card base I have used a green mat layer and a Kraft top layer....I have rounded two opposite sides of all the layers with a corner rounder punch....on the top layer,I stamped a fern leaf stamp repeatedly with green dye ink...

On a smaller piece of Kraft cardtstock,I stamped the sentiment with dark brown ink and added a green layer underneath....I rounded two corners of these as well before placing on the card....I have used clear sequins to decorate the card....

Have a lovely & blessed day ahead....Happy crafting...

Cre8tive Hands Friends Blog Challenge - Gift Tag

I haven't used digi images for my cards before - only stamps, so it is taking a little bit of time getting used to them and coming up with ideas for them...but it's very very exciting to try something new...

The best part is that the size of the images can be increased or decreased to suit your project and not the other way around....and that is exactly what I did for today's project that I have made for the latest Cre8tive Hands Friends Blog Challenge....

I'm sharing a tag today....the white cardstock base of the tag has been die cut using the largest Labels Eight Spellbinders die and I have used a stencil and distress inks to create the background for it...at the top I have used two circle punches to create the circles to fit around the hole of the tag...this also prevents the ribbon from ripping the paper....

I have printed out the digi and die cut it using a much smaller one of the Labels Eight die and the coloured it in using markers and distress inks...I have used adhesive foam underneath the digi before placing it on the tag to give it a bit of a dimension...Finally I have stamped the sentiment above the digi....

Happy Birthday Peonies Card

Today I'm sharing another card where I have used watercolours....but the main hero of this card is the Altenew Peony Scrolls stamp set.....I have just used four of the stamps from the set....there are a lot more tiny ones in the set as well....

The card base is plain blue and for the top layer layer I have used Ranger watercolour paper...I have stamped all the images using Versamark ink and heat embossed them with black embossing powder and then coloured them in using Peerless watercolours....I also decided to wash the negative space on it using a light blue colour....

I have used a strip of pink foil cardstock for the die cut sentiment but before I placed the sentiment on it,I used the stitch border die to create the stitched effect on it...and finally I used a few tiny sequins to decorate the card...

Thanks for stopping by to take a look...Happy crafting...

In today's card I have used watercolours for the background and have coloured in the die cuts with them as well....

The card base is made from textured lavender cardstock...and the top layer is made from watercolour paper on which I have used three different colours to create the background..once that was dry I have also stamped on it with small stamps and wrapped a silver string around it and adhered it to the card base...

On a separate piece of paper I stamped the feather image three times with Versamark ink and heat embossed them with silver embossing powder....I coloured in the images with watercolours, cut them out and placed them on the card...

Finally I stamped the sentiment on a strip of silver foil cardstock and placed it above the feathers using adhesive foam squares...

Cards Box Set - Tea or Coffee?

A set of handmade cards is a great idea for a present....especially for someone who likes sending small notes or cards to people often....store bought cards are easily available but they are mass produced and not unique in any way...

Today I'm sharing a box set of four 4"x 4" cards and I have made envelopes and the box for them as well...The box has been created using the WRMK 123 Punch Board(or the envelope punch board)...the cardstock was cut to 8" x 8" and then punched and scored at 3&1/2" and 4&1/2" on all four sides...

Me And My Daily Papercraft Blog - Handmade Card by PriCreated

I have used Kraft cardstock for the card bases for all four cards...then there is a mat layer of black...the top layer is white on which I have directly stamped the tea/coffee cup images as well as the sentiment...

I have coloured in the images using water colour pencils and an aqua brush....

Bright,Fun And Colourful Birthday Card

I enjoy making bright and colourful cards...and I think bright cards catch the attention of most people - especially kids - almost immediately...so not only are they exciting for me when I'm making them, but it's great to see the instant reaction of the person receiving it....

I started with a bright yellow card base...then to create the top layer background,I have used distress inks on watercolour cardstock and then lightly misted the Roses embossing folder and pressed it on the inked paper....I don't own background stamps so I love using embossing folders instead...

I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and used gold embossing powder to heat emboss it...then I die cut three borders in different colours from the stitched hillside dies and layered them...I placed two cut out and coloured in images of a boy and girl(In My heart-Mama Elephant Stamps)on the  layered border...

To finish the card,I die cut a few hearts from gold cardstock and adhered them randomly..

Thanks for stopping by....Have a blessed and happy day...

Simple Thanks Card

The Flower Garden stamp set by Tim Holtz is one of my absolute favorite one and I use it quite often...It's a beautiful set and I keep thinking of ways to use these stamps as much as I can...

Today I have made a simple card by repeat stamping just one of the flowers and stem stamp and used only black dye ink on kraft card stock to create the background...I did create a couple of masks so that the stamping could overlap and also so that I could stamp the stems properly...

I die cut the word thanks using gold cardstock and placed it on the top layer...and also rounded two opposite ends of the card base and the top layer with a corner rounder...

Hope you'll have a great day today....Happy crafting...

The card base is plain white...the top layer has been created using distress inks and masking technique...this created four colour blocks/sections on the the top layer...

I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder...then,on a separate piece of paper I also stamped, coloured in and cut out the little girl image and placed it above the sentiment...

To decorate the card,I have die cut stars from gold cardstock using the Mama Elephant Confetti die and placed them randomly on card...

Another challenge has begun today with yet another cute image...in fact I would call it a scene...and here is my card using that image in a card...

Me And My Daily Papercraft Blog - Handmade Card by PriCreated

For this card I have used a plain white card base and the top layer is die cut from printed cardstock using the largest stitched rectangle die...I used a smaller stitched rectangle die with white cardstock to create a frame for the image...I have also stamped the sentiment onto the frame itself....

I coloured in the image using Spectrum Noir markers and a bit of blue Peerless watercolour for the sky...once the frame was ready,I put adhesive foam tape under it and adhered it to the card base....

Hope you liked my card...

Birthday Hugs Card

It's so exciting to see how distress inks react with water and you have no idea what you are going to end up with....even the smudges and excess water marks look great if you ask me....

For today's card,I have a light blue card base and I have created the top layer with watercolour paper and distress inks...once the paper was covered with distress inks,I quickly spritzed an embossing folder with water and pressed that onto it...I then used a heat gun to quickly dry it....

On the top layer,I have firstly wrapped a bit of silver string and then placed a die cut eyelet circle from vellum paper...and then another layer die cut from silver cardstock....at the top I have placed a stamped, coloured in and cut out from one of my Gorjuss Mini stamps...

The sentiment is half stamped on a strip of cardstock and half die cut....and I have used silver sequins to decorate the card a bit more...

Thanks for visiting...Have a great day ahead....

Happy Mother's Day

It's Mother's Day today....so here's wishing all the moms all over the world a very Happy Mother's Day..!!

My mum and I have been discussing flowers and gardens a lot these past few months....so I decided to make a card with that in mind....I chose a green card base....the top layer is white and has been covered with vellum paper which has been embossed using the Swiss Dots embossing folder....I then die cut two panels from a printed stripes card stock using the stitched hillside border dies and placed then on the top layer...

On a separate piece of white cardstock I stamped the Small Gerbera stamp three times using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with black embossing powder...I coloured them in using peerless watercolors and cut them out and placed them on the card...I also die cut two leaves using green glitter cardstock and placed them near the flowers...

Finally I stamped the sentiment on a small strip of paper and placed it on the card as well...

Thanks for stopping by to take a look...Have a great day......

Butterfly & Roses Birthday Wishes

I got my box of embossing folders out today to quickly make a simple card with an embossed top layer...

The card base is pink and the top layer is white which has been embossed using the Kaisercraft Roses embossing folder...I wanted the roses to be the main focus of this card so I decided to 'smoosh' some pink ink directly from the inkpad onto the embossed paper....this way only the embossed part catches the ink and the debossed area stays white...

I adhered the top layer right at the edge of two sides of the card base and then placed two die cut butterflies as well as a banner for the sentiment...

Hope you liked this card...

For this card,I started with a gold cardstock card base and then started preparing the top layer....I have used a few different distress inks to create the top layer and then stamped it lightly with an embossing folder spritzed with water(sorry that is not quite visible in the picture)...once it was dry I stamped the sentiment at the top using Versamark ink and gold embossing powder...

I printed out two bird digis for this card - one as is and another one flipped before printing.....then coloured them in and cut out and placed on a branch...and finally I have placed a few heart sequins and tiny rhinestones to finish the card...

Sending Blessings Card

Every now and then I go through all my stamps hoping for an idea to pop up or find a stamp I haven't used in a long time...and today I pulled out these 3D doily stamps that I haven't used recently....

The card base is plain green and for the top layer I have used watercolour paper....I have just used  one shade of green peerless watercolour to do a kind of a wash to create the background....once the top layer was dry,I stamped the sentiment at the top...

I decided not to stamp the doily stamps directly on the top layer....so I stamped them on a separate piece of cardstock using Versamark ink and then heat embossing them with black embossing powder...then I coloured them in with bright colours and cut them out and placed them on the card using adhesive  foam squares...

To decorate the card I have simply used green rhinestones in various sizes....

Hope you liked this card....

On The Edge Die Cut card

While yesterday's card was pretty plain and simple,in today's card I did follow a tutorial and learnt a couple of techniques...and the fun part was trying to implement the technique with the products I own...

Jennifer Mcguire teaches two techniques in this tutorial Rainbow Stamping & On The Edge Die Cutting....you could try either one of those but I did try them both...

Since I was going to use quite a few colours for the rainbow stamping,it was sensible to use a white card base....then using a post it note and a stamp positioner I was able to stamp the same stamp in various colours(pl. see the tutorial)....A few of the stamps are stamped above the score line and they are later partially die cut....

I think the rainbow effect stamping on my card would've looked better with a solid stamp...but it's not too bad,is it?

Hope you liked my card...

Love And Adore You Card

When simple works...there is no need for complicated....and with that thought I started today's card....there are no special techniques I have followed here...kept things plain and simple...

The card base is plain white and then I have an orange mat and a black top layer...I then stamped the Gorjuss mini stamp on vellum paper and coloured it in which I later attached to the back of a white rectangular die cut frame...

I also die cut the words 'love & adore you' from orange foil cardstock and adhered them on one side of the card and the frame on the other...

To decorate the card,I simply punched out a few hearts from orange foil cardstock and placed them around the image...and my simple card was ready...

Hope you liked it...
