Butterfly & Roses Birthday Wishes

I got my box of embossing folders out today to quickly make a simple card with an embossed top layer...

The card base is pink and the top layer is white which has been embossed using the Kaisercraft Roses embossing folder...I wanted the roses to be the main focus of this card so I decided to 'smoosh' some pink ink directly from the inkpad onto the embossed paper....this way only the embossed part catches the ink and the debossed area stays white...

I adhered the top layer right at the edge of two sides of the card base and then placed two die cut butterflies as well as a banner for the sentiment...
