Holiday Greetings & Baubles - 2 Cards

I'm sharing two cards today which I have made with a lot of care...I have chosen traditional colours for the background of my first card and soft colours for stamping the background of the second one...it has been very exciting to make so many unique holiday cards this year...

For my first card I die cut the front panel using a stitched rectangle die and then used a smaller rectangle die from the shadow box die set to create a window in the middle of the panel with a stitched effect all around it...I then sponged in some candied apple and lucky clover Distress Oxide inks on this panel..I also splattered some water and gold watercolour on it...

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on this panel using white embossing powder and then started on the village scene inside the window..

There is a snow bank die in the shadow box die set which I have used in the window after sponging in cracked pistachio and salty ocean Oxide inks...I then added the coloured in and die cut images from the winter village stamp set and then added a blue panel at the back on which I have used the falling snow die....

I adhered this panel to a plain white card base and then added some white Nuvo drops to embellish it...

I was quite excited once I finished my second card...why?...well,I didn't muck it up(ha ha) and it turned out exactly as planned...

I started by stamping large baubles from Waffle flower Holiday Labels stamp set on a piece of white die cut panel using Altenew citrus burst and cotton candy dye inks and then stamped the same bauble on a separate piece if cardstock using persian blue ink...I stamped a deer silhouette inside the baubles using mocha and sand dune ink shades..

There were some tiny dots stamps in the WF Holiday Labels stamp set which I used to randomly stamp and fill in some of the background on the white panel using the same inks I used to stamp the baubles..I then adhered this panel to a light pink textured card base..

I die cut the blue bauble I had stamped earlier using a circle die and added a string/ribbon die cut to it and adhered it to the card front using some craft foam underneath...and to finish my card I added some clear star sequins to the blue bauble as a bit of a shiny element in my card...
