I love this quote by H.J.Brown - "Remember that most valuable antiques are dear old friends."....and the card I'm sharing today is for a treasured friend...I have used two adorable fairy images from Penny Black stamps for my card....
I first die cut the front panel from watercolour cardstock using a large cross stitch rectangle die and then did some ink smooshing using the following Distress Oxide ink shades - black soot, seedless preserves, broken china and peacock feathers..
Once dry,I stamped the sentiment on this panel using Versafine onyx black ink and quickly heat embossed it using some clear embossing powder and adhered this panel to a textured sea green coloured card base...
On a separate piece of white cardstock I stamped and coloured in the two fairy images using my Spectrum Noir markers and then carefully cut them out and adhered them to the card front using adhesive foam square...
To embellish my card,I punched out three butterflies from silver glitter cardstock... and added some bright pink adhesive pearls to them before adding them to my card...
Thank you so much for your visit today...I'm glad you stopped by my blog...Hope you will have a wonderful and blessed day ahead...!!
